Roshni A. Nasar

Roshni A. Nasar is a dedicated social worker and development professional committed to driving impact at the grassroots level. Over the years, she has led initiatives across diverse sectors including education, livelihoods, women’s empowerment, public health, and disaster response—always guided by the real needs of communities.

Alongside her professional work, Roshni is currently pursuing an MA in International Relations, Security & Strategy at O.P. Jindal Global University. This academic pursuit is enriching her understanding of global affairs, particularly how international policy decisions, security dynamics, and geopolitical shifts influence the everyday realities of vulnerable populations. Her overarching goal is to bridge community-level development with a global perspective. She seeks to explore how humanitarian challenges, conflict, and diplomacy intersect with grassroots issues, and how international systems can either strengthen or destabilize local resilience. Roshni is especially interested in development practice as a tool for long-term peacebuilding and social justice.

Through this integrated approach, she aims to ensure that development efforts remain not only contextually grounded but also strategically aligned with the evolving global landscape.
